Afridi I will return to New Zealand as a commentator

Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi played his last T20 game on New Zealand soil, when Pakistan were hammered with a 95 run loss by a relentless kiwi side. Following the embarrassing defeat, Afridi said during his post match speech that he is looking forward to return to New Zealand sometime in the future, but as a commentator.

Afridi further added that when you lose 5 of your best players inside the first 6 overs, any hope of a win shall be abolished.

The star all-rounder was questioned on a possible return to New Zealand some time in the future, to which he replied that he would like to return to the soil as a commentator. Afridi also said that the team would try to put the series loss behind them, and would concentrate on doing well in all T20 competitions before the World T20, including the Asia Cup.

Pakistan got off to a winning start in the series, but were outclassed at Auckland and Wellington, giving the homeside a 2-1 series win. Adding to the woes of their series loss, the 2009 Champions also drop to 7th in the ICC T20 team rankings, while the kiwis move above South Africa into 5th.
